Welcome to the Silkstone Primary School web site.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
These are exciting times for our school. We have just had a three classroom extension added to our existing building. This has enabled us to bring class 4 who were taught in the mobile classroom across to the main school building, and allowed us to convert two of our smaller classrooms into a new staffroom and computer suite. As well as this, classes 5 and 6 who are in the older part of the building have had their rooms refurbished and extended and our administration rooms have been extended also. So almost every room in the school has been modernised or is brand new and we are left with a wonderful resource in which to learn and teach.

Young Voices
As we reared up to the colossal car park of the Sheffield Arena, a buzz of excitement filled the coach with joy. We were to take part in an amazing concert with over 5000 children. There was a mass of hectic chaos whilst Santa hats were handed out. It was an amazing experience that we will never forget, as we were singing and dancing around with our glow sticks and Santa hats all night.
