Surf the net!
There are lots of things to discover on the internet and it can even make learning fun! We know because we've had a look and here are just a few of the sites we discovered.
We'll be updating this page regularly and when we find new and interesting sites, we'll post the link here so make sure you come back often.
The links.
Please note: Although we make sure that all the sites we recommend are suitable for children we can't be held responsible for the changing content of external sites.
All sites will open in a new page.
CBBC - an excellent site with lots to thing to do and see. Sections on art, music, BAMZOOKi (don't know what that is? Then go and have a look!), games...in fact, there's too much to list here.
CBeebies - this is another great site from the BBC. Aimed at a younger age group than CBBC, it features popular tv show characters, games etc.
Dr. Who! Need we say more? (and even if you don't want to go there, your dad probably will!)
National Geographic for Kids - natural history presented in an entertaining and educational way. Includes games, wallpapers, interesting articles (e.g., Do Animals Have a Sense of Humour?!), activities and experiments.
NASA Kids' Club - games, puzzles and information about the stars and planets.
Walking with Dinosaurs - website accompanying the famous BBC series. As you might imagine, lots of information about dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals.
Performance Poet: Paul Cookson - website containing information about Paul. Quite a few poems in there too!
