TEMPORARY TEACHING ASSISTANT
TO SUPPORT A CHILD WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

This is a two year temporary contract commencing as soon as possible
Salary will be paid at Scale 2, Point 11 - £14,197 per annum pro rata (this would equate to £10,371.03 per annum, or £864.25 per month, before deductions).

This post is subject to the current job evaluation – outcome pending.
Required for 27.5 hours per week, term time only, a teaching assistant to support a child with a statement of Special Educational Needs.

Candidates will be expected to work in the classroom from 9.00am until 12.00 noon, and again from 1.00pm until 3.30pm 

You should have four GCSEs (Grades A-C) or equivalent OR a minimum of one year’s experience in a similar setting.

TEMPORARY TEACHING ASSISTANT/ LUNCHTIME
PLAYGROUND SUPERVISOR TO SUPPORT A CHILD
WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

This is a two year temporary contract commencing as soon as possible
Salary will be paid at Scale 2, Point 11 - £14,197 per annum pro rata (this would equate to £9,428.21 per annum or £785.68 per month before deductions).

This post is subject to the current job evaluation – outcome pending.
Required for 25 hours per week, term time only, a teaching assistant to support a child with a statement of Special Educational Needs, and to supervise a different child during the lunch break. Candidates will be expected to work from 9.00am until 12.00 noon in the classroom supporting one child, and from 12.00 noon until 1.00pm supporting a different child during the lunch hour.

Lunch break would be from 1.00pm to 1.30pm, then supporting the child in the classroom between 1.30pm and 2.30pm.
You should have four GCSEs (Grades A-C) or equivalent OR a minimum of one year’s experience in a similar setting.

The successful candidates will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, and will be subject to an enhanced CRB check. We welcome applications
